This past spring (left to right) Ruth Strickler '52, 盖尔·克莱默·埃利斯, '76, 弗兰·鲍曼, '76, 和帕特·布朗·盖茨, '63, met at Betty's Nosh in Glendale, 亚利桑那州, 为了一顿愉快的午餐. Gail and Fran knew each other in high school and were aware that they were both going to nursing school. It turned out that they became classmates (and roomies) at Mount Carmel. Ruth has attended every luncheon since the group began meeting in 2010. With three graduate years represented, the afternoon was spent sharing memories and describing historical (and hysterical) situations in school and at various employments. 再一次, a group of Mount Carmel graduates met as strangers and became friends through the simple process of meeting for lunch. 明年见!
A few members of the Class of 1962 gathered “down south.” They are Barbara Haley Watt, 苏珊·罗尔·威劳尔, 莎伦·斯特劳德·斯泰布, Martha DillonZunich and Janet Keane Schriner.
Twelve members of the Class of 1963 gathered at Cincinnati, 俄亥俄州, in July when they heard that their classmate, 格里·理查森·斯图尔特, 他住在奥斯汀, 德州, would be visiting family in 俄亥俄州. Mary Jane Bradley and Eleanor Hagerty Kennedy hosted a luncheon, which was attended by Geri and Sondra Young Abernathy, 帕特Bernhard, Judy Rebhan Borowitz, 菲利斯·莫兹·克鲁克, 佩吉·霍法, 南希·约翰逊·麦克尼科尔斯, 贝丝·布赫兹剧团, Patricia Binkiewicz Reinhart, Mary Ann Cunningham Smith and Jacque Lippert Ziarko. Marilyn Butterfield Holloway called in from her home in Notre Dame, Indiana, to join the fun.
Cleveland, 俄亥俄州, was the setting for a small gathering to meet and talk with Dr. 狭巷. 罗比·莱赞·科维纳，77年, and her close friend Ann Regas Reitenbach ’77, along with Virginia “Ginny” Lynch Bache ’59, were all delighted to meet her, hear the news from Mount Carmel, and catch up on one another’s lives.
